Dr. Leah Foreman is the founder, occupational therapist, feeding specialist, and bodyworker at Nurtured Pediatrics. She believes that all families deserve to find connection and joy in everyday moments.
Dr. Leah graduated from Ohio University with a BA in Fine Arts. She then became an occupational therapy assistant at Pima Medical Institute and went on to complete her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the University of St. Augustine in San Diego. Her doctoral capstone assessed the effectiveness of telehealth in underserved areas, and she still holds a passion for serving communities where care is hard to reach.
She has 12 years of experience working with children and families across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings, providing complex medical care in each — and can make a session happen just about anywhere at this point.
Dr. Leah holds advanced feeding and swallowing training and certifications, along with 75 hours of training in bodywork and manual therapy methods.
Outside of work, Dr. Leah lives in Jefferson County with her husband and kids. In their free time you'll find them enjoying the Colorado sunshine, walking their cavalier king charles, Riva, or hunting down Pokémon cards — they still haven't collected the original 150.
